Grüezi! Hallo. Welcome to Whitetail Valley, a special place to relax, feel at home and find a little old world charm in a beautiful natural setting. Kick back and soak in the experience of life at the farm.
Whitetail Valley Orchards
Apples grow here in a traditional Swiss German meadow orchard. Called a Streuobstwiese, over 60 unique varieties of trees spread across the valley. No chemicals. No poisons. Fruit as nature designed. Walk leisurely among the trees. Our apples are better for you, better for the planet and better tasting too!
Whitetail Valley Cellars Winery
We specialize in fruit wine. Small carefully crafted batches of Apfel Wein are made with old world quality which our Swiss ancestors would approve. Not too sweet nor too heavy our wines are made for modern tastes which you will love. Our brand new winery, Keterei-Kutzli, is under construction. We are putting finishing touches on our Swiss tasting room called "Das Stübli". Join with us and "Taste an Iowa Summer in Every Glass!"™
Grampaw's Punkin Patch
We started planting pumpkins for our grandkids in 2015 and the idea caught on. We began Grampaw's Punkin Patch to market pumpkins, fall decor, squash and gourds. There is nothing scary or gory at Grampaw's. We are safe for the little ones with lots of Autumn harvest beauty for the older ones! Bring your kids! Bring your grandkids! Grampaw would love to see you.
Come and Visit
We love to share our farm with visitors. Whitetail Valley Farm is a working family farm. We don't have a lot of "staff". At times we may not be near the phone or at the keyboard. We are always happy to make an appointment for your visit. Call 712-829-2242 landline or text to (712) 382-4337, email to welcome@whitetailvalley.com or by Facebook messenger. We would love to see you! See you soon!

Kelterei-Kützli
We have begun building our winery – called a “Kelterei”. Our facility fits our method of winemaking. Our building includes space for fermentation, a cellar for maturation, and our Swiss themed tasting room. We are planning that our first wines we will be able to sell in 2025.
